Schoolwear supplier Banner bought by rival

Schoolwear importer Blue Max today announced that it had acquired similar-sized rival Banner Group, which is based in Stockport. Trowbridge-based Blue Max has paid an undisclosed sum for Tangram Ventures Ltd, a private company owned by Ian Powell, who bought the business from quoted group Cosalt for £4.5m in 2008.
